Kayla Kuehn’s journey into the world of construction and real estate is a unique one, shaped by her background in childcare and her drive to pursue new challenges. For 8 years, Kayla worked in the childcare field, spending 4 of those years managing a summer program and before-and-after care services. Her dedication to nurturing others and managing complex programs taught her valuable skills in leadership, communication, and organization.

In 2021, seeking a new path, Kayla decided to follow in her father Matthew Kuehn’s footsteps and moved to Washington to join the family business at No 7 Development. Here, she quickly discovered a new passion for real estate. Motivated by the opportunity to help others navigate the buying and selling process, she earned her real estate broker’s license and became a licensed agent with NextHome Preview Properties.

Kayla’s addition to the team means No 7 Development can now offer clients a full spectrum of services, from finding land to build on to selling your current home. Her background in childcare gives her a unique approach to customer service—focused on listening, problem-solving, and building long-term relationships. Matt Kuehn

With over 32 years of experience in the construction and trades industries, Matthew Kuehn brings a wealth of expertise and a unique perspective to every project he undertakes. Starting his career as a journeyman LV electrician, Matt honed his skills in the electrical trade, building a strong foundation for his future in construction. Driven by a desire for new challenges, Matt pursued his passion for aviation and became a commercial pilot. However, his love for building and creating never wavered. After earning his pilot’s license, he returned to his true calling and launched his first construction company in Minnesota. Over the years, Matt built a reputation for delivering high-quality, energy-efficient construction solutions, focusing on sustainable practices and smart design.

In 2016, Matt made the decision to move to Washington State, bringing with him a deep knowledge of energy-efficient building techniques and a commitment to excellence. Since then, he has continued to grow his expertise, building a wide range of residential and commercial projects while staying at the forefront of green building practices. With a background that spans multiple disciplines—electrical work, aviation, and construction—Matt has a unique ability to approach every project with a blend of technical knowledge, creative problem-solving, and a passion for sustainability.
